WHAT DOES CELLULITE TREATMENT ENTAIL?

Treatment of cellulite can be achieved with mesotherapy which is a safe, effective treatment that has helped women in Europe for decades. Mesotherapy can break down the "orange-peel" appearance of the skin by targeting the three factors that cause cellulite i.e. Poor circulation, defective connective tissue and enlarged fat cells.

WHAT AREAS OF THE BODY CAN BE TREATED WITH MESOTHERAPY?

Love handles, stomach, saddle bags, bra bulge, inner thigh bulge, buttocks, double chin, arms, legs and fat pads under the eyes.

HOW FAST WILL YOU SEE RESULTS?

The speed of results depends of the area treated and the extent of the problem. Usually, cellulite and fat show visible improvement after 4 treatments. However, the recommendation is 4-6 treatments at monthly intervals.

WILL THE RESULTS LAST?

The results are usually long lasting but do fade with time. Therefore it is wise to recommend maintenance treatments of approximately one session every 6 months. You can also maintain results by ensuring that there is minimal weight fluctuation.

HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT TAKE?

The entire treatment only takes 20 minutes. The treatment must be administered by our specially trained doctor or skin care therapist who will determine exactly where to administer the medication to achieve the best results for you. Topical local anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin to minimize discomfort and you can return to normal activities afterwards.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

A common side effect is bruising which generally resolves over one week. To speed up the healing process, we suggest arnica be applied on a daily basis. You may experience temporary soreness but this will subside within 48 hours.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The total cost depends on the number of sessions needed to achieve the desired results. Prior to your first session, you will receive a treatment plan that outlines the anticipated cost.
