SMOKERS LINES

Lipstick lines, Smokers Lines, vertical lines - call them what you may, lip lines are one of the signs of aging that you would prefer not to deal with. By the way Smokers Lines are possible whether you smoke or not. Smoking does breaks down the production of collagen which increases the appearance of wrinkles. But smoking is not the only cause of these lines. Time, age and sun damage can also contribute to these wrinkles. For those small lines above the upper lip, a Dermal Filler with a smooth consistency like Juvederm may be considered. Sometimes the Dermal Filler may need to be used in combination with Botox. Perlane is another ‘successful’ Dermal Filler.

Dermal Fillers like Restylane are used for filling out lips, facial wrinkles and facial folds besides Smokers lines. The hyaluronic acid in these fillers is almost identical to those found in the body. The results are almost instant and long-lasting. These natural enhancement are safe and gentle for your skin.

The second generation Dermal Fillers including Juvederm, Ultra, Voluma, Radiesse and Sculptra provides more enduring results than earlier products. The new group of advanced dermal fillers includes Juvederm, Radiesse and Voluma. In addition Botox is used to relax overactive muscles and diminish wrinkles. Botox is also used in conjunction with the dermal fillers to provide added lift and to help the dermal fillers last longer. And yeah these procedures take at most 40-50 minutes, happens under local anesthesia and you can resume work immediately thereafter.
